Pyrite – Octahedral

These octahedrals come from the most productive specimen mine for pyrites in the world. Huanzala, Peru. Pyrite is usually cubic or dodecahedron, so these represent a more rare crystal form. They are exceedingly lustrous and have sharp, well-defined faces. The rarest of the crystal forms from the Mundo Neuvo mine. These aesthetic specimens are mostly multi-crystal groups with a defining focal crystal.
